Man Killed In Shooting Outside NE Dade Club
NE MIAMI-DADE (CBS4) – One man is dead, a second hospitalized after they were shot outside a night club on Biscayne Boulevard.
Miami-Dade police spokesman Detective Roy Rutland said the shooting happened just after 1 a.m. just north of 113th Street. According to detectives, as the two men left Secrets night club they were approached by two men who appeared to have been waiting for them in the parking lot.
One man who witnessed the shooting, but did not wish to be identified in this report, said the two men coming out of the club were ambushed.
"This was strategically planned out, everything from there approach to just everything," said the witness. "When I saw those guys coming out, I knew in my head, that whoever they were targeting they were out to kill."
One of the men, who was shot multiple times, died in the parking lot. The second man, who was shot in the foot, was taken to North Shore Hospital.
Police have not released a description of the shooter or said what may have motivated it.
