Discount Website Ready To Launch In South Florida

MIAMI (CBS4) - A new website designed to save you money is about to launch right here in South Florida.

You may have heard of the big-name daily deal websites like Groupon and Living Social, but now a new website called Dealatize.com promises to deliver deals for people living in South Florida.

While customers, like Paola Rengifo have found a good deal at Nail Bar and Beauty Salon in midtown Miami, getting your nails done every week can be costly.

"That is why you have to look for places with a good deals," said Rengifo.

Dealatize.com was created right here in South Florida. It is just days away from launching and it promises daily deals.

"I have that entrepreneurial dream. I guess it drives me," said creator Vincent Smith.

It is a dream that has driven Smith to create the site, which claims to offer discounts of up to 90 percent off.

A pharmacist by day, Vincent is driven by people's need to get a good deal.

"That is the thing with this site, regardless of your income level, everybody wants a good deal," said Smith to CBS4's Jorge Estevez.

There is a variety of websites out there offering deals, but Dealatize.com wants to focus on deals at a hyper local level targeting specific South Florida neighborhoods.

"That way residents can experience merchants in their immediate vicinity where they don't have to travel far out of the area," said Smith, who is still adding businesses to his roster of deals.
