Trio Stole A Million In Cash, Jewelry From Hollywood Store

HOLLYWOOD (CBS4) – Three armed men terrorized employees and customers at Hollywood jewelry store as they stole more than a million dollars in cash and merchandise.

The three men, all in their 20s, stormed Koosh Jewelers in the 2700 block of Stirling Road on Tuesday around 11 a.m. Brandishing their guns, they forced store employees and customers to the floor as they looted the registers and display cases. Police said one of the trio forced the employees to open the store's safes.

At one point during the robbery, police said one of the men pointed his gun at an infant in a stroller and threatened to kill the child, if their demands were not met.

Police said the men then ran out of the store to waiting black newer model SUV and sped off.
