Two People Hurt In Watercraft Crash At Nudist Resort

KISSIMMEE (CBS4) – Two people were rushed to the hospital after they were involved in a high-speed water scooter crash at a nudist resort.

Osceola County Fire Rescue said the crash happened just before 8 p.m. Sunday near the Cypress Cove Nudist Resort in Kissimmee when the watercraft slammed into a seawall.

A man and a woman, both 62, were taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center.

A receptionist at the nudist resort said the man and woman were guests at Cypress Cove and had borrowed the watercraft from another guest. She said they were wearing their birthday suits while riding the scooter.

Witnesses reportedly told police the scooter was going about 40 mph before the crash.

Officials said the man suffered two broken arms and a cut on his head. The woman was treated and released.
