MIAMI (CBSMiami.com) – Miami Dolphins fans have known for three years who the best offensive tackle is in the NFL, and it turns out, Jake Long’s fellow players agree with Fins fans.
Long has been selected by NFL players as the top offensive lineman in the NFL in the NFL Network’s Top 100 Players in the NFL. His ranking is between 30-21, according to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. Long’s spot will be unveiled on Sunday.
So far, there have been 13 offensive tackles listed from 100-60 in the NFL Network ratings. Those tackles included: D’Brickashaw Ferguson of the Jets; Joe Thomas of the Browns; and Jahri Evans of the New Orleans Saints.
Two other Dolphins players were selected in the Top 100, outside linebacker Cameron Wake and wide receiver Brandon Marshall. Wake and Marshall were ranked 63rd and 61st respectively.
