Police Arrest 19-Year-Old Miami Man For Murder

MIAMI - (CBS4) - Police have arrested a man they say fatally shot one man and attempted to kill another over a dice game.

Now, Antonio Fountain, 19, is being held without bond for his alleged role in both cases.

In the first case, Fountain argued with Leronne Harden over a dice game. The argument escalated and ended when Fountain allegedly pulled out a gun and shot Harden several times striking him in the arm, abdomen, thigh, foot and buttocks, according to the police report.

Harden recovered from that shooting, which occurred on the 6300 block of Northwest 14th Court on June 16, 2009.

More recently, Fountain became a suspect in the murder of Herbert Charles Gross III. Gross died on April 3rd, Northwest 14th Avenue and 63rd Street after officers heard gunshots in the area. They spotted a blue Mercury Sable driving off and crashing into a pole. Inside, Gross , 27, was found unconscious in the driver's seat.

On April 5th, the Gross family pleaded for the public's help to find the murderer.

Police arrested Fountain late Sunday and said they have evidence to charge him in both cases.

Fountain appeared before a bond court judge Tuesday afternoon, where a judge ordered him held no bond.
