FORT LAUDERDALE (CBS4) – Ever wanted to experience what it’s like on the set of a big budget movie? The chance is in your own backyard.
America’s Backyard, that is.
According to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, The Fort Lauderdale restaurant is holding an open casting call for extras to make their big screen debut in “Rock of Ages” starring Tom Cruise, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Alec Baldwin.
Hopefuls in their 20s and 30s should show up to the restaurant on Saturday, June 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with armed with a photo, with a name, stats and phone number on the back.
Bonus points if you show up in 80′s attire.
America’s Backyard is located at 100 S.W. 3rd Ave in Fort Lauderdale.
