Marlins Lose Again, 3-2

MIAMI (AP) -- Freddie Freeman singled home the go-ahead run in the 10th inning Wednesday night, and the Atlanta Braves extended the Florida Marlins' losing streak to seven games by winning 3-2.

The Braves' Derek Lowe took a no-hitter into the seventh before he tired. Lowe gave up two hits and no runs in 6 2-3 innings.

The Marlins went 1 for 8 with runners in scoring position. Six of the Marlins' losses during their slump have been by a single run.

The Marlins tied the game one strike from defeat. Mike Stanton hit a two-run single off Braves closer Craig Kimbrel (2-2) to make it 2-all.

Chipper Jones walked with one out in the 10th against Mike Dunn (4-4), took second on a single and Freeman, who had been 0 for 7 in the series, followed with single up the middle.
