MIAMI (CBS4) — Another round of FCAT scores will be released Thursday. This time, the Department of Education will release third-grade reading and math scores.
Third-grade students must pass the reading exam to advance to fourth grade.
The state already released the results of the 2011 writing exams. Students across grade levels had higher average scores in writing on the FCAT this year compared with 2010 scores.
The remaining reading, math and science scores for fourth- through 10th-grade students will be released in June.
Results are posted online at www.fldoe.org.
