Boynton Beach Daycare Owner Charged With Neglect

BOYNTON BEACH (CBS4) – A Boynton Beach daycare center owner  was charged with neglect after she was spotted driving a minivan full of children who were not wearing seat belts.

Abagail Denson, the owner of Abby’s Little Angels, was also charged with driving an unregistered motor vehicle.

A Boynton Beach police officer said on Friday he observed children moving around and not wearing seat belts in the van being driven by Denson. The officer found nine children, between the ages of 2 and 4, inside the van. Six were not wearing seat belts and a toddler was in an unsecured carrier.

Denson reportedly told an officer her van was broken and that she had used another one, thinking it was best to get the children to school.

The Department of Children and Families has launched an investigation.

Don’t these Daycare places have to go through a lot to even open their doors?

They take care of innocent children that don’t know right from wrong or can barely even speak.

Or do their parents even care what is going on with their children when they are put into the bus don’t watch what is going on in them?

If I were a parent and didn’t see a seat belt on my child I would take he or she out of the bus and take them myself and look over the place to make sure I like or not.

All of this could be stopped before the children even go into the bus if they were inspected by Dade or Broward or any other Counties as they should be I just don’t get this at all.
