Castro Warns U.S. Bin Laden More Dangerous Now

HAVANA, Cuba (CBSMiami.com) - Former Cuban dictator Fidel Castro has criticized the United States for how Special Forces and the C.I.A. killed 9/11 mastermind Osama bin Laden.

Specifically, Castro was upset for bin Laden being killed in front of his family. The 84-year-old also said that the raid inside Pakistan violated that country's laws and offended its dignity.

Castro said in the opinion piece published Thursday that he abhors all forms of terrorism and noted that he expressed solidarity with the United States after the 9/11 attacks.

But the 84-year-old revolutionary says the decision to kill bin Laden and bury him at sea "has turned him into a much more dangerous man."
