Popular Ft. Lauderdale Beach Lot To Close Monday
FT. LAUDERDALE (CBS4) - A popular beach-side parking lot in Ft. Lauderdale will be temporarily closed beginning Monday for construction.
City officials said the public lot at Fort Lauderdale Beach Park, located at 1100 Seabreeze Boulevard, will close for two weeks so utilities can be placed underground and lot will get a makeover. The construction of the new parking lot is part of a 1-year project that will include improved access and ADA enhancements.
So where do you park?
There are several alternative lots including:
- "E Lot" on East Las Olas Circle (Located below the Las Olas Boulevard bridge).
- "Oceanside Lot" at 400 Seabreeze Boulevard (A1A & E Las Olas Boulevard).
- "R Lot" at 3031 Sebastian Street (A1A at Sebastian Street).
- "U Lot" at SE 5 Street & A1A (Across from the Swimming Hall of Fame).
Street parking is also available at several locations.
