BSO: Sketch Of Man Who Attacked 88-Year Old Woman

POMPANO BEACH (CBS4) - The Broward Sheriff's Office has released a sketch of the man they say forced his way into an elderly woman's home, beat her up, and robbed her.

Pearl Patrinos', 88, was attacked in her Pompano Beach apartment on March 29th. Patrinos said she heard a knock at the door of her apartment in the 800 block of NE 33rd Street shortly after 10 p.m. When she opened the door, Patrinos said the attacker forced his way inside, punched her in the face, took her in the bedroom and demanded money.

The robber threatened to kill Patrinos after she said she did not have any money.  The man got away with some jewelry and three dollars from her purse.

Patrinos was taken to North Broward Medical Center where she was treated and released.

Anyone with information is urged to call BSO Robbery Det. Mark Copley at 954-321-4270 or call Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS (8477).
