Former Dolphins Player Arrested For DUI

Former Miami Dolphins lineman Bob Kuechenberg faces driving under the influence charges after he was arrested over the weekend.

Kuechenberg, also known as the “Kooch,” played for the Dolphins in the 1970’s and started multiple Super Bowls for the Dolphins during that time.

Kuechenberg was arrested by the Florida Highway Patrol on Saturday night and charged with DUI and DUI with damage to property or person and improper passing or lane change.

According to the FHP, Kuechenberg was given a breathalyzer test and blew a .127 on the first attempt and .122 on the second attempt, well above Florida’s legal limit of .08.

Kuechenberg was later released after posting bail.

This is so sad that this happened to him because he seems like a person that has his life in order.

He probably came from a party somewhere and got into his car and was on his way home and was not driving as he should have been no more no less.

I just so glad that nobody got hurt and he was stopped before he got hurt and now he has to strengthen out his life.

Look at that mug shot he looks like a alcoholic. His cheeks are firing red.

This is not the first time he drove drunk, but just got caught this time. Have no fear “Kooch” or whatever you will get off with a slap on the wrist like the other sports players that get arrested.I just have one question… were you wearing a jock strap at the time of your arrest?

  • Jimmy Cefalo

I have inside info that “Kooch” was wearing a big jock strap!!
