Former Dolphins Player Arrested For DUI

Former Miami Dolphins lineman Bob Kuechenberg faces driving under the influence charges after he was arrested over the weekend.

Kuechenberg, also known as the “Kooch,” played for the Dolphins in the 1970’s and started multiple Super Bowls for the Dolphins during that time.

Kuechenberg was arrested by the Florida Highway Patrol on Saturday night and charged with DUI and DUI with damage to property or person and improper passing or lane change.

According to the FHP, Kuechenberg was given a breathalyzer test and blew a .127 on the first attempt and .122 on the second attempt, well above Florida’s legal limit of .08.

Kuechenberg was later released after posting bail.
