Lehigh Acres Man Killed In Afghanistan
MIAMI (AP) – Sgt. Jason G. Amores has been killed in combat while serving in Afghanistan.
Amores, 29, of Lehigh Acres was in the Marine Corps and died Thursday in Helmand province.
Amores was assigned to 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force in Camp Pendleton, Calif.
