Cameras Catch Deli Thieves In Action

DANIA BEACH (CBS4) – Security cameras were rolling when two men, at least one of them armed, robbed a Dania Beach deli.

Now the Broward Sheriff’s Office is hoping someone will recognize the images of the men caught on camera and give them a call.

The robbery happened Sunday, Dec. 12th. Surveillance images show two men, both covered from head to foot including gloves, running into the ANS International Deli on Stirling Road just before 8p.m. One of the men jumped the counter and confronted the clerk. His partner held back for a few seconds before jumping the counter also.

The man brandishing the gun cleaned out the cash register while his partner tossed cigarettes and other stuff from the shop in a bag. They both then ran out the front door.

Anyone with information about this robbery is asked to contact Detective Meghan Brooks at (954) 321-4270 or Crime Stoppers at 954-471-TIPS (8477).
