A giant sunfish, also known as a “Mola mola,” got up close and personal with a pair of paddleboarders in Laguna Beach, California recently. Paddleboarder Rich German is the founder of the non-profit Project O, which advocates for ocean preservation. German said that while he's seen ocean sunfish before, none were as big as this one, which he estimates to be nine to ten feet long.
