While Florida sees its share of conventions, conferences, fairs and festivals, a majority of festivals in the United States are held in Florida during the winter and spring. Because of the warmer air and more tolerable climate, most of these events become sought after and packed full of national and international guests. Because Florida knows hospitality and how to put on a good show, thousands are returning to these events each year. Here is a list of five of the top festivals occurring in South Florida this winter. Considered in the Top 20 of Parades around the globe and aired live to millions of viewers, this event has much acclaim for being "the greatest event on water." The Seminole Hard Rock invites attendees to participate in the fun for only $35, giving them the opportunity to have 15 seconds of fame amongst audiences around the world. Starting in Downtown Fort Lauderdale, the 12-mile boat parade commences with boats, fully decorated and traveling east on New River and north on the Intracoastal to Lake Santa Barbara in Pompano Beach.

The Festival Holiday Car Show is essentially South Florida's largest car show. And we know, South Florida loves cars! With all spectators admitted free of charge, over 600 cars have already registered for this December 13th event. Car registrants are still welcome however. For a low fee of $30, they will receive shirts, gift certificates and access to the hospitality tent. This is only the beginning, as the Festival Flea Market Mall has planned a special day for car owners and enthusiasts alike. Because of this, last minute participants will be assessed an additional $5 fee to be involved in this huge event, which welcomes all styles, models and eras of cars and vehicles. Pre-registration ends on December 8, 2015.

Date: January 30, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Entering its 4th year of existence, The Miami Beer Fest has seen amazingly huge crowds coming together in the "spirit" of international and craft brew. Showcasing beers from all over the world, this local event showcases hometown breweries from the center of the Marlins Stadium for a night of music, food and beer. All attendees must be over the age of 21. VIP guests will be admitted with an additional hour of brew, brought to them by specialty beers, for a fee of $50, with general admission set at $40. Tickets purchased at the gate will increase by $10 and will be available via cash only.

Brought to you by the Coconut Grove Arts & Festival Historical Association, Inc., The Coconut Grove Arts Festival has been in session over 52 years and has become an award-winning community favorite for decades. They give a portion of the proceeds from admissions to year-round arts programs and scholarship funds to continue creating opportunities for Miami-Dade art students. Originally founded in 1963, over $10,000 has been awarded to students attending fine arts programs in the area. General Admission is $15 per person a day. Admission is free for children under 12 and Metrorail Golden Passport and Patriot Passport Holders. Residents of the Coconut Grove 33133 areas are admitted at $5 per day.

The OMAF has also set up RV parking, camping areas, tour busses and other accommodations to ensure attendance from festival enthusiasts all over the country.
