Keg South Family Grill
27591 S. Dixie Highway
Homestead, FL 33032
(305) 248-0959For those on the south end of South Florida, this is the place to watch the game with other friendly sports fans. It's big inside, the lighting is bright enough so you can keep an eye on the little ones and there are a few video and racing games to keep the kids busy. For those over the age of 12, you can even play pool - if you play with a parent. The menu here is all American with burgers, wings and fries, but you'll also find things like a cowboy ribeye and peanut butter pie. The only downfall is that there is no kids menu. Kids can order a smaller version of the hamburger for $6 or a plain hot dog.

First off, it offers a kids' menu with affordable food, fun games and goodies, and a chance to win a free Flanigan's t-shirt with a coloring contest. Flanigan's is definitely welcoming to families. Not to mention, its ribs (and food in general) is fantastic. This spot also has a full liquor bar and the food comes out quickly. The booths are roomy and the fish mounts on the wall keep the kids interested, as does the video game room. The Pinecrest location even has an air hockey table. Did we mention the big-screen TVs strategically placed throughout the entire restaurant? You'll love watching your team win here.

We're talking Maine lobster, bistro burgers, huge salads and those famous zingers (Miller's version of buffalo chicken). Kids get their own affordable menu (all items are $4.49) and the service is generally quick so you won't hear "Where's my food?" No matter what day of the week you visit, you'll find a menu of daily specials that will knock your socks off.

Duffy's Tavern
2108 S.W. 57th Ave.
Miami, FL 33155
(305) 264-6580
http://www.duffystavernmiami.com/This might be your new home away from home. The food is cooked fresh to order, there are at least 20 HD TVs for your viewing pleasure and the staff is super friendly to everyone. The tables are just wooden, picnic-style with benches, making the atmosphere very casual and welcoming. But it's the food that gets all of the cheers here. It might just be the best burger you've ever had and the history of this place alone is astounding - it's been here since the 1950s. Have your kids do the math, but that's a long time. Still family owned and operated, Duffy's will take good care of you and your family, because here, you are part of their family.
