Originally founded in 1985, the Miami City Ballet’s mission is “to play a leadership role in the arts ecology of South Florida by bringing the best of dance and dance education to the region.” They do so by providing the Southern Florida community with an abundance of amazing ballet performances. Their dance performance season this year includes their presentation of one of the most popular 19th century ballets, “Giselle.” It will premiere this fall and tickets are available for purchase on their website. This fun festival includes various panels and dance workshops, all leading up to the premiere performance of “Ciudad de Orichas” (meaning City of Orichas).
