In part of every childhood memory, there is a monkey bar, a "hamster tube," and a sliding board. We grew up with the jungle gym, and had a blast doing so. These are the same memories we would like to share with our youth. Fortunately, South Florida is home to several amazing jungle gyms, and we have broken down the best of the best. It's so hard to measure which of these top five locations are the coolest. But, this would be in the top of the top. Called "Miami's largest indoor inflatable playground" (measuring 15,000 square feet), visitors get the chance to jump from bounce house to inflatable tunnel to slide — getting as crazy as they want to get. Eliminating many of the risks associated with indoor play places — and especially jungle gyms — kids will have the chance to be as wild and crazy as they want to be. Parents, you will be happy to know that the entire perimeter of the play place is lined with comfy chairs. In the center, there is a seating area to eat and host parties without ever having to take your eyes off of your loved ones. Did we fail to mention, this is one place that still has balls?

Have you ever been on a raft in the middle of a private beach? Miami's only private beach is right outside of downtown Miami and Biscayne Bay. The Rainforest Riptide is gigantic jungle gym on the middle of the ocean that comes equipped with trampolines, slides and a few bars to hang off of. To get across each section, kids can walk the narrow tubes or swim. This is a unique experience and something to check out. This is a seasonal area of the park, but undoubtadly one of the top "jungle gyms" in South Florida!

South Pointe Park

1 Washington Ave.
Miami Beach, Florida 33139

The traditional outdoor jungle gym… well, kinda! In the center of South Pointe Park, the playground holds many interesting jungle gym and monkey bar combinations. Not for beginner, this park gives children the fresh air and exercise they require in leading healthy, happy lives. The park is just outside of the beach, and very abstract in design. This is a regular spot for families to meet up on a warm Sunday afternoon.

Minitown

This is a really cool place to be if you're a child. A giant treehouse-themed jungle gym with an obstacle course, the giant play area is reminiscent of Discovery Zone from the 1990s. Minitown has used their imagination in designing amazing party areas at the facility, with the treehouse at the center. Along the walls, Minitown has installed scalings of painted buildings and provided safety harnesses for the young ones. In Disney-themed areas, guests will have meet and greets with their favorite Disney princesses. This is definitely a place to visit at some time in every kid's life.
