Top Egg Dishes In South Florida

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day but there is no law against having egg-centric dishes at lunch, brunch or dinner. To some, having breakfast later on in the day is a guilty pleasure and a delight, eschewing the routine of only having it upon waking up. There are great egg-centric dishes that cater to healthy eaters and also to non-healthy eaters who like to feel different textures on their palate during a meal. There is the yolk which has a high content of cholesterol but also nutritional vitamins (A, D, E and K) and the egg white which is a great source of protein. For the health-conscious, eating eggs is a meat substitute and can help with controlling meal portions.

Its contribution to egg-centric dishes is the Thai Ginger Soup — a light, energetic dish that could be eaten to start off a dinner or to keep one going at lunch break. DBA's interior is beautiful and is configured like the family room of a very wealthy host that likes to invite many people to his house for lavish parties.

www.newyorkgrilledcheese.comOne of the greatest names for a sandwich is New York Grilled Cheese Co.'s "Wall Street Grindr Award" made with American cheddar cheese, fries, bacon, caramelized onions and a fried egg on a toasted country loaf. It is a delicious overdose of the senses of salty and sweet. The Grindr is served with a tomato bisque dipper that the customer could eat solo or dip continuously.

The Egg'In burger at Pincho Factory has American cheese, lettuce, tomato and Pincho's cilantro sauce with the fried egg and burger patty that combines cold and hot items in one's mouth perfectly. The winners of awards from Local 10, Miami New Times and Burger Beast's Burgie Awards should stimulate anyone to travel to the suburbs of Miami-Dade and try it out.

On the menu are such dishes like Eggs Benedict — brioche, ham and hollandaise sauce — or the Egg White frittata — spinach, tomato, mushroom, caramelized onions and sharp Vermont cheese on ciabatta bread. Couple that with bottomless mimosas before 3 p.m. or a pitcher of sangria and walk the beautiful streets of the Design District to truly make the afternoon.
