Top Date Night Spots In South Florida

A local bar may be a great place to take a date for some dancing or partying, but bars are not always the place to go for a romantic evening. Check out a drive-in theater, go kayaking or just take a nice romantic walk along the beach or a park trail. Or maybe take in an Improv comedy show for some belly-busting laughter and a nice meal all in a low light atmosphere.

While the drive-in theater is practically extinct, there are a few holdouts. Blue Starlite is one of those hold-outs. This 50 space drive-in theater is the perfect place for a romantic date. A concession stand is available that serves the typical movie fare like popcorn, candy, sodas and other food items. Many of the shows they air at this venue are old cult classics like Jaws, Hocus Pocus, The Shining, Ghostbusters and other popular films from earlier years. Car slots fill up fast, so a reservation is suggested.
