Top Bars To Watch Thursday Night Football in South Florida

Whether it's friends talking about Fantasy Football league play or debating in-game sequences from the past weekend, the popularity of football is at an all-time high. A great social event is on Sundays to gather with friends at a comfortable bar and grill to watch the 1 p.m. games (and even the 4 p.m. games) over wings, cocktails and beer to cheer on the hometown Dolphins or out-of-state teams. And now Thursday features football as well. Here are five locations around South Florida to enjoy Thursday night football.

Batch Gastropub
30 S.W. 12th St.
Miami, FL 33130
(305) 808-5555

Batch Gastropub is letting all fans know that it's ready for some football. It has a map on its website of where its TVs will be located in terms of table setting configuration and where its projectors are located. It also has a special game-day menu with such classic dishes as buffalo wings, pulled pork and bratwurst. For the vegetarians, there is a portobello mushroom sandwich on the menu. Big parties should go for the tables in front of projectors #1 and #2 while the singles and loners can sit at the bar comfortably watching the game.

Biscayne Tavern
146 Biscayne Blvd.
Miami, FL 33132

What every sports fan loves is the ability to watch a game at a bar and grill in comfort -- to have a good view of the TVs, to get prompt service from the staff and to have the team win or be around like-minded fans to console with after a loss. The location only seats 80 so it fills up very quickly. It is in the heart of Downtown Miami and a perfect place to have dinner and wait for rush hour to get underway and die down while drinking a cold, craft beer and watching Thursday night football on the wall of TVs.

Palmetto Bay, FL 33176

Hole in the Wall Pub & Grill has a wide projection screen surrounded by TVs. There are 12 beers on tap with a wide menu selection of wings. Hole in the Wall Pub & Grill also has Pabst Blue Ribbon beer for $1.50.
