Although fireworks are a great way to celebrate the birth of our country, most fireworks start at 9 p.m. Earlier in the day, there will be music playing all over South Florida in celebration of the 4th of July.  Many of the concerts and events listed below feature live music followed by fireworks later in the evening. This is a family-oriented event with lots of activities happening early in the evening and fireworks starting at 9 p.m. But around 2 p.m., the music will begin to put everybody into the patriotic spirit. The name of the bands playing on the Budweiser Beer Garden & Stage have not been released, but the musicians are always great. As a matter of fact, CBS4 actually listed America’s Birthday Bash at Bayfront Park as one of the “Best 4th of July Parties in South Florida.” So kick back and listen to some fabulous patriotic tunes before the fireworks start.

City Of Coral Gables July 4th Fireworks Celebration At The Biltmore Hotel

A concert featuring the Greater Miami Symphonic Band will begin at 7 p.m. inside the Biltmore Hotel. The band will be playing old patriotic favorites as well as other popular songs. Admission to the concert is free. Beat the heat before the fireworks begin by stepping inside the Biltmore Hotel for this great concert. After the concert, venture outside for the fireworks.

This year marks the seventh year of the Race to the 4th in Homestead. This free admission event begins at 6 p.m. with live music, games and a fireworks display at 9 p.m. Miami Highway, a local group of musicians will be playing popular rock and roll hits and patriotic songs. Another local band, Above The Skyline, will be regaling the crowd with alternative rock hits to put everyone into the 4th of July spirit. Come out and enjoy the sounds of America as the City of Homestead celebrates the birth of our country.

Grace and The Victory Riders will be performing at Fort Lauderdale’s 4th of July Spectacular at 4:30 p.m. At 6:15 p.m., Turnstiles will continue this patriotic concert well into the evening. The beach is always packed at this venue, so attendees should arrive early to get a good seat up close to the stage. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets, but please leave your coolers and alcohol at home.

This exciting concert will be happening at the Bamford Sports Complex in Pine Island Park. In addition to the typical 4th of July activities found at most parks on this day, attendees will get a special treat. Paul Revere and The Raiders will be giving a concert inside the Bamford Sports complex. The group will be playing many of the tunes that made them famous, as well as several patiotic tunes to get listeners in to the holiday spirit. This will be a concert to remember years from now. So come early to get a good seat.
