When Art Basel comes to town, Miami Beach turns into an Art World. The show is a spin-off and sister to Switzerland's Art Basel, the most prestigious art show in the world. Special exhibitions are set-up all over Miami's creative Art Deco District for the show and at night art parties take place all over the city. It is one of the biggest annual events in South Florida.

In South Florida, February is warm, and art lovers from around the world flock to the streets of Coconut Grove in t-shirts and shorts. Some people go to the festival to buy art, but if you are not in the market you can enjoy the view and live music. There's also a culinary arts pavilion offering delicious local cuisine.
