THE DEFENSE

Q: Great ride! What can you tell us about it?

A: I only drive American cars and I wanted a luxury car that was American. Also, I could get it easily fixed because there's a Cadillac dealer close to my house. It's my first Cadillac, but I grew up with Cadillacs.

Q: How was your car buying experience?

A: My husband helped me buy it. We looked online and found the right price. Then we called around to the different dealers and said, "Can you meet this price?" When we found a dealership who said they could meet the price, we bought the car from them.

Q: Where did you buy the car?

A: In Hollywood, somewhere close to the house.

Q: Do you have any rules in your car?

A: No rules. Lots of kids. No rules, except wear your seatbelt. I try to keep the car cozy and comfortable. The seats are black so you can't see the dirt or spills. The floors are black, so you can't see anything on the floors. It's well loved and well used.

Q: What's the farthest you've driven the car?

A: We drove it to Orlando. We normally take our bigger car on longer trips because it has movies in it.

Q: Do you have a nickname for the car?

A: It doesn't really have a nickname, but if it did, I'd call it Mom's Taxi.

Q: What do you usually use your car for?

A: Carpooling and driving back and forth to school and to work.

Q: How's the Cadillac driving experience?

A: It drives very well.

Q: Is there anything else you'd like to tell us about your car?

A: I like it very much. It's an American luxury car. That's the number one thing I like most about it. It's a nice car made in America by an American company and it's made with American parts, so I can get it easily fixed. So far we haven't had any problems with it, but if we did have problem with the car, I know it wouldn't be a problem.
