He became the executive producer of the University of Miami Hurricanes football broadcasts while continuing to cover games and practices for all local sports teams, including the Miami Dolphins, Miami Heat and Florida Panthers.

When he isn’t providing content for CBSMiami.com, David and his wife, Jaime work with several South Florida charities and enjoy going to the beach, the movies and looking for fun new restaurants around town. David also still plays ice hockey and enjoys a good poker game with friends.

In September of 2016 David and Jaime welcomed their first child, Tyler, into the world.
