Born and raised in Coral Gables, Brooke is thrilled to be back home.
Before returning to South Florida, Brooke worked as a Weekend Anchor and Reporter for WCJB in Gainesville, and most recently, as a Reporter and Fill-in Anchor for WINK in Fort Myers.
In her years of reporting, Brooke has traveled the state covering major stories like the Parkland mass shooting, the arrest of Roger Stone, and Hurricanes Michael, Irma, and Dorian. In 2016, she was honored with the award for Best Multi-Media Journalist in small market by the Florida Associated Press Broadcasters.
Brooke’s reporting days started early when she joined the news team at Carver Elementary School. A life-long dancer, she’s always enjoyed performing, even attending South Miami Middle School’s Drama magnet program.
Brooke graduated from the IB Program at Coral Gables Senior High School where she was a member of the award-winning Gablettes Dance Team. She then went on to graduate with a Dual Degree from Florida State University with majors in Communications and Creative Writing, and minors in Spanish and Psychology.
When she’s not working, Brooke loves spending time with her family.
