New Miami-Dade Schools Superintendent Jose Dotres Reaches 2-Year Agreement With District, Will Earn $370,000 Per Year

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - The new superintendent of Miami-Dade County Public Schools has reached a two-year agreement with the district.

Jose Dotres will be paid $370,000 a year to lead one of the largest school districts in the country.

His first day on the job will be Monday as outgoing superintendent Alberto Carvalho heads to Los Angeles to lead the school district there.

Carvalho signed a four-year contract worth $440,000 a year.
