MIAMI (CBSMiami) – A South Florida man is facing serious charges Monday night after a series of online threats.

Police say 21-year-old Kenny Espaillat threatened a mass shooting at the University of Miami and Shenandoah Middle School and to burn down Miami International Airport.

The threats were sent in an email to CanesWear, a store in Davie that sells Miami Hurricanes gear.

Police were able to track the suspect down and arrest him.
