Scott Carr Selected As FIU's New Athletic Director

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Scott Carr is replacing Pete Garcia as Florida International University's new athletic director.

"We know there's a lot of pride, Panther pride, here in the community. We look forward to building on what has already been built, and taking things to new heights here," he said in an introductory video. "Can't wait to get started."

Prior to joining FIU, Carr was the deputy athletic director at the University of Central Florida.
