MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Miami-Dade County officials reversed their decision to lock down drawbridges on Saturday.

On Friday, they had announced plans to lock down all county drawbridges at 8 a.m. Sunday, July 4, ahead of potential impacts from what was then Hurricane Elsa.

Officials had planned all drawbridges to be closed in advance of expected winds of 39 MPH.
