Miami-Dade Police ID Recovered Victims From Surfside Building Collapse

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - On Sunday night, the Miami-Dade Police Department released the identities of victims recovered from the collapsed Surfside condo.

The number of confirmed deaths remained at nine Sunday evening in the partial building collapse at the Champlain Towers South Condominium.

There are 134 people accounted for, which includes the nine deaths.

152 people are still unaccounted for.

Rescue crews have done DNA tests with family members to identify the victims.

Apartment #903

Manuel LaFont
54 years old
Apartment #801

Leon Oliwkowicz
80 years old

Anna Ortiz
46 years old

Christina Beatriz Elvira
74 years old

Search and rescue crews continue to work around the clock at the site of the building collapse.

On Sunday, Miami-Dade Mayor Daniella Levine Cava asked everyone to keep praying for the victims and their families.
