MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Miami-Dade Police are investigating an early morning shooting in West Kendall that left one person hurt.
According to police, a person armed with a gun entered a home at 13824 Southwest 107th Terrace on Monday morning and shot a man inside. Police tell CBS4 they are still searching for the shooter but could not provide a suspect description.

“I mean it blows me away, you know,” said one neighbor who asked we not use his name. “It’s Monday, it’s President’s Day, quiet neighborhood. It’s disappointing.”
Miami-Dade Police said the victim is expected to be okay and as of Monday morning was speaking with detectives.
