Hollywood Ceiling Collapse Injures Child

HOLLYWOOD (CBSMiami) - Monday's heavy rain may have been to blame for a frightening scene in a Hollywood home.

The family who lives in the home in the 5200 block of Fletcher Street was installing an Xbox in a bedroom when a section of the ceiling collapsed and fell on a five-year-old child. Another person in the room was also hit by the debris.

The child was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
