Six Foot Python Pulled From Miami Beach Park

MIAMI BEACH (CBSMiami) - A slithery surprise was captured by a Miami Beach police officer on Friday at a popular park.

Police posted on Twitter that a six food python was found and caught at Flamingo Park.

The snake was trapped by "Officer Cajuso" and then turned over to Florida Fish and Wildlife by "Officer Cabanas."

Police were quick to point out that, coincidentally, the length of the snake is the same as the recommended social distancing guideline.
