Virgin Trains USA Receives Approval To Build PortMiami Station

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Another expansion plan is moving forward for the trains formerly known as Brightline.

Virgin Trains USA received approval Tuesday to build a station at PortMiami.

That stop will connect cruise passengers to Miami, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach.

Stops in Aventura and Boca Raton could also happen down the line.

There is also a planned expansion up to Orlando International Airport.
