Woman Killed In Early Morning Lauderhill Crash

FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) - A woman was killed in a hit and run crash in Lauderhill early Wednesday morning.

The woman was attempting to make a left turn on State Road 7 at NW 21st Street when she was struck by another vehicle. The force of the impact sent the woman's car into a light pole.

She died on the scene.

The driver who struck her fled but returned about 45 minutes later. That driver is cooperating with the police.
