Two People Bitten By Sharks Off New Smyrna Beach

DAYTONA BEACH (CBSMiami) - Danger in the water off New Smyrna Beach.

Two people were bitten by sharks over the weekend.

A 20-year-old woman was bitten on her hand and wrist on Saturday. Minutes later a 21-year-old man was bitten on his right foot.

Neither of the injuries was considered life-threatening.

New Smyrna Beach, by the way, is known as the shark bite capital of the world.
