Traffic Affected In Police-Involved Crash In North Miami Beach

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- North Miami Beach police are investigating a crash involving a police cruiser on Tuesday afternoon.

Chopper 4 was over the scene after 3 p.m. in the area of Northeast 19th Avenue and 163rd Street.

Images from our news helicopter showed a police SUV and a black sedan in the middle of an intersection.

Police shut down the intersection while they investigated the crash.

Authorities did not say if anyone suffered any injuries during the accident.
