Fort Lauderdale Man Accused Of Forcing Minor To Perform Sex Act

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - A Ft. Lauderdale man accused of sexual assault with a minor has been arrested.

Morris Thomas, 33, reportedly coerced a 12-year-old child to perform a sexual act on him by "threatening to kill the victim," according to Margate police.

Thomas was arrested Thursday by Margate police and then taken to the Broward Sheriff's Office Main Jail where he was placed in their custody.

He's charged with one count of sexual battery on victim 12 years or more.
