Hollywood Beach Lifeguard Tower Damaged In Fire

HOLLYWOOD (CBSMiami) - An overnight fire damaged a lifeguard tower on Hollywood Beach.

Firefighters received a call just before midnight that the Virginia Street Lifeguard Tower on fire.

When they arrived, they found flames shooting from the north side of the tower.

Firefighters were able to put it out in a couple of minutes.

No injuries were reported and an investigation is underway as to the cause.
