DAVIE (CBSMiami) - A smash and grab business burglar had a busy morning last week hitting four businesses in just under an hour.

Now Davie police have released surveillance camera images in hopes that someone recognizes him and gives them a call.

Last Tuesday, January 29th, the hoodie-wearing burglar started his spree around 2:15 a.m. He hit three businesses in Davie; Zinncredible at 4450 S Pine Island Road, Pollo Tipico at 5011 South State Road 7, and Dunkin' Donuts at 5021 South State Road 7. He also hit Pizza Ricca at 5226 South State Road 7 in Hollywood.

CBS4 obtained exclusive video of the burglary at the Dunkin' Donuts.

In each case, he shattered the businesses' glass front door and targeted the cash registers.

"He just broke in through the front door and went to all the cash drawers and took about $400," said Jack Patel, manager of the Dunkin' Donuts

Police say the person they are looking for was driving around in a newer model silver Kia Sportage.

Patel said he's discouraged after the burglary.

"I'm feeling bad about what happened," he said, "And I am feeling sad too."

Patel said he's also been robbed before, but not by the man in the surveillance pictures.

"I'm scared. I was robbed three or four times and I worry some time there might be a murder," he said.

Salvatore Badalamenti, the manager at Zinncredible Pizza, said the burglary was discouraging.

"To us in the working public and for us working inside, it is very concerning that people can get inside and reach us this way," he said. "As workers, this hurts and we want to get him and put him away."

Badalamenti said the burglar took a few hundred dollars from his store and he wants him caught.

Early Tuesday evening, Davie Police released surveillance video from the Zinncredible burglary.
