Rifle Found Following Reports Of Men Walking Around With Weapon In Miami Gardens

MIAMI GARDENS (CBSMiami) - Police in the City of Miami Gardens are thanking vigilant residents who helped get a rifle off the streets.
Police say they received several calls about four men walking around with a rifle.
Multiple officers responded, canvassing the area. Two men were questioned near Scott Lake Elementary School, but they were unarmed.
The weapon was later found inside an area home a short time later.
The rifle was removed and taken to the Miami Gardens property unit.
No one was arrested.
