Jimmy Buffett Performs Free Show In Support Of Gwen Graham

HOLLYWOOD (CBSMiami) - The king of the parrot head nation performed a free show Thursday in Hollywood.

Jimmy Buffett played a free GOTV concert in support of Gwen Graham at the ArtsPark Amphitheater.

Former U.S. Senator and Florida Governor Bob Graham introduced his daughter, former U.S. Rep. Gwen Graham, one of the five Democratic candidates at a concert in Hollywood's ArtsPark.

Bob Graham's long-time friend, Buffet, urged the crowd to vote for the former congresswoman and then sang some of his biggest hits.

There are five days left until the primary election and the seven candidates vying for their party's nomination in the Florida Gubernatorial race are in full campaign mode, trying to win over those undecided voters.

"I'm still kind of undecided," said undecided voter Denise Brown.

"Just doing my best to do all the research that I can and make sure I'm best informed prior to the vote on Tuesday," said undecided voter Alexandra.

"My commitment to this race has been to wake up every day and talk to people all across the state of Florida. I will continue to do that. This is a campaign that's about the people of Florida," said the former congresswoman.

Former Miami Beach Mayor Philip Levine spent the day at two meet-and-greet events in central Florida. He also made a stop in West Palm Beach where he met with voters and talked about his plans to move Florida forward and the national implications on the 2020 election.

Billionaire Jeff Green has shifted his focus from political ads to get-out-the-vote efforts in communities across Florida. He also has volunteers and community organizers statewide, as well as 100 phone bankers and 400 paid canvassers.

Republican candidate Adam Putnam spent part of the day in Hialeah visiting retirees at the Goodlet Adult Center. The Agriculture Commissioner shared his plan of expanding vocational education and implementing a conservative agenda for Florida.

Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum, the only non-millionaire in the race, got a big monetary boost from Tom Steyer, George Soros and anonymous donors totaling $650,000 according to CNN.

Wednesday, Democrat Chris King talked about his plan for a bullet tax and calling for the end of Stand Your Ground Legislation in Florida, according to his Twitter page.

Republican Ron DeSantis had a few meetings followed by a reception in Boca Raton. Friday he's expected in Fort Myers doing a tour of the algae on the Caloosahatchee.
