MIAMI (CBSMiami) — The bomb squad was sent out to Port Miami after reports of smoke emanating from a piece of luggage.

It happened at the port’s Terminal D Sunday afternoon.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue was also called out to investigate and the situation turned out to be a false alarm. Hours later, it was business as usual for ships moving in and out of the port.

Police did not reveal what the cause of the smoke was.
