Bike Patrol Officer Hospitalized Following Accident

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – A bicycle patrol officer has been hospitalized after an accident early Friday night.

According to Miami Fire Rescue, the accident happened at 16 Avenue and NW 7 Street at around 7:30 p.m.

The female officer was taken to the Ryder Trauma Center. Her condition is unknown.

No word on what caused the accident.
