MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- As hundreds of art lovers flock to various parts of Miami for our annual art week, traffic can get quite tricky.

In Miami Beach, you have the world-renowned show Art Basel at the convention center. That's something that is expected to draw thousands to the area alone. Last year, there were over 77,000 people who attended the show within the five days it was open.

Let's not forget Design Miami, Aqua Art Miami and Pulse Miami Beach among other art fairs set to run through the weekend. A drive away, you have Miami's Wynwood area and Arts & Entertainment District that are hosting more than a dozen art shows as well.

Don't fret! There are options to get around that may not require pricey parking and  bumper to bumper traffic.

You can hop on a free shuttle running through Miami and Miami Beach. The shuttle service runs from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.  Wednesday to Saturday with 15 minutes between shuttles. On Sunday, they will run from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Click here for the routes and map.

You can also hop on to the Metrorail or Metromover, which has extended their services until 2 a.m. Those extended hours will run until Sunday. Click here to plan your route.
