SCOUTING: For many years, the South Florida area was never known as a hotbed for offensive linemen. Things have certainly changed. Just over the last three years, some big-time talent has emerged from the array of skilled position athletes that we are known for. Linemen, who are athletic, big and quick are starting to come out of Miami-Dade and Broward Counties. Here is a perfect example of the new breed of linemen. After finishing his second straight year of starting for the Wolverines, this current freshman has been knocking heads at the varsity level since the 8th grade - and the best is yet to come. Serrano is just starting to mature - and as he gets bigger and stronger, this is someone who has the opportunity to be very special and highly recruited. The best party of his game is his mechanics. For such a young player, he does things that seniors cannot do. With his experience and ability to play this game, the future is indeed going to promising for this program with this standout leading the way.
